Amigo Pet Services offers home visits for any pet, specializing in cat care. The company is licensed by the city of Richmond and I’m both bonded and insured.
I’m Betty Olsen, the owner operator of Amigo Pet Services, which I started in Richmond in 2016.
You can trust that in your absence, I am the only person who will enter your home and you will interact directly with me. I provide in-home pet care services, and have experience with dogs, cats, birds, fish, small animals and even reptiles. I also understand how important your peace of mind is and that you appreciate periodic updates while you are away.
When your pet is under my care it will be attended to for all its needs and you will be informed of anything unusual that might occur.

I have always had animals of every type, starting with my first cat Lassie when I was just 3 years old. For over 40 years I have been involved in animal related work and have been employed as a vet assistant, groomer, kennel manager and dog trainer.
Prior to launching this essential service for Richmond, I owned and ran the successful pet food and supply store at Seafair Mall, Companion Pet Foods and Supplies in Richmond, from 1996 till 2010. During this time, many customers came to rely on the good honest advice and practical solutions for their various pets, and it’s these relationships that inspired me to continue into more personal pet services.
I hope that my experience, knowledge, and professionalism may also be a great resource for you as I am always happy to be able to share my experience with my clients.
Betty came to our home daily and took care of our cat, who had epilepsy, and needed a pill each day! We were super nervous to leave her, so Betty also texted us a few times giving us updates. Was super impressed and very grateful! Sadly, our Sami passed in February but I will never forget how at ease I was having Betty watch her last summer!
